Hi
I'm currently looking for the cheapest possible (legal) Microsoft Word 2003 around. I've tried OpenOffice and the others and didn't really like it, and also did a 3 month trial of Word 2007 and had no idea of what was going on!
Any ideas??
Thanks

Are you a student? If you are, you can benefit from Microsoft's offer: https://www.theultimatesteal.co.uk0

I'd probably try eBay next, but make sure you are looking at brand new sealed software boxes from dealers or sellers with excellent feedback. You might get a bargain for Office 2003.
Office 2007 though is available in a Home and Student pack (for home users as well as students), Amazon have it for £75 at: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000HCZ8EO/0 -
If you work for the Met Police or NHS or your company IT dept may allow volume discounts. Mine was £13 + Vat for Office 20070

Okay, plan B.
Does anyone know where to get MS Word 2003 as a download? Any price?!

There's no legal downloads of Word offered unless it is through a particular scheme (e.g. academic alliance). Retailers aren't allowed (according to MS themselves) to offer MS Office products via downloads to joe public. If you find any then they'll be pirated copies. Your best bet is a reputable retailer offering it on CD or ebay (used with caution)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
