    If the national debt helpline tells you that it is time barred then it will be, whether or not you've been out of touch, it's not that hard to locate people especially if on state benefits of any kind.

    Good luck pal, you deserve some light relief after all you've gone through.

    there is no specific time for such letters as there is no real question.. you are saying they are statute barred.
    however if you want to complain to the financial ombudsman you need to wait 40 days

    so the fact that they have not sent any more letters since i sent said letter they was just tring it on to see if they could catch me out or scare me into paying
