  • Thanks for this post.

Went online yesterday and although there wasn't a great deal still managed to grab some bargains.

    Packs of Crayola 24 crayons @ 29p
Packs of Office World 24 Colouring Pencils @ 29p
Packs of Crayola 12 double sided Colouring Pencils @ 99p
    6 pack of Neon coloured Post it Notes @ 89p per 6pk Both 3 x 3 and 3 x 5 sizes

Great for stocking fillers and I needed some to do travel packs for the kids when we go on holiday.

Also 24 pack of Powercell AA batteries @29p. Maybe not the best make but seeing as most of them get used by my daughter for all her bits and pieces (toys etc) then they'll do the job fine.

Combined my order with some stuff for work so I got them to pay the carriage - even better bargain!!

I went to my local store today and it was already a Staples store - and that happened back in April so I don't quite know what's going on here!

What a crap company......checked the site and noticed they had a store in Slough......rang several times no answer, so drove there.......arrived and no office world.....rang office world slough again.....someone finally answered and they said that the office world store closed over 2 years ago!!!!!

Thats disgusting......glad they closed down.....hope staples follow them too......why have a website if you dont update it.....2 years is a joke!

anyway put a claim in for mileage and 2 hours wasted time....if they dont I will send my staples business card back

Lots of clearance stuff at the Staples in Sunderland (Sunderland Enterprise Park, by the A1231). I was talking to the manager and a lot of it's stuff from other stores including Office World and Staples down south whose managers won't sell. He wants to clear it out and he can negotiate on the prices.

Might be worth trying your local Staples to see if they have any clearance stock

I'm still coming to terms with the 4.1 surround speakers fiasco(eventually ended up with cheap CD player)Get loads of junk mail through the door now, though.
Never,EVER order anything from thier website unless you have the patience of a train commuter and more time to kill than a nightwatchman.

At the Swindon OW they have these Amstrad E3 Em@iler Video Phones, reduced from RRP £100 to £15.

Saying that, I have since seen they are only £49.99 in Argos, but still, £15 very nice:)

Thats about the best thing at this one -apart from the pens, paper, and christmas stock that they are practically giving away, nothing else is reduced by much
