    Fancy toad in the hole??!!!!

Pigs in blankets in the hole? I like the idea of the "space saving" mixed grill, as well.

Only cooking for two over Christmas, and only able to find packs of loads of tiny pre-made PIBs, I made 4 of my own. I just used the streaky end of the middle rashers I usually get, and switched my usual 8 pack of thick sausages to a 12 pack of thin ones. The extra cost was just 1p and I've still got the remaining 8 in the freezer.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
  • we ate them with breakfast of bubble n sqeak if i recall. tho that doesn't exactly stretch them far...

you could make cowboy casserole, put the sausages and bacon into the oven to cook / reheat, top with baked beans and mix up, heat until the beans are cooked - makes a great topping for jacket potatoes x
  • Use them for the Delia Sausages in Red Wine casserole ? - which has sausages and bacon in separately - these are just combined already.
