Ideas for using frozen chippolatas wrapped in streaky bacon

I have about 20 of these in my freezer.... They were frozen on xmas day when I realised I had too many. Both were fresh from the butcher.

I had an incling I could casserole/soup but other than that, no particular gameplan!

All ideas welcome!

If cooking roast chicken for dinner one night then I often serve sausages wrapped in bacon with them...I just buy a pack of sausages and a pack of bacon and prepare them, then stick them in the freezer in lots to be used as and when...

I'm afraid a roast poultry dinner just doesn't cut it for me without these! :D

Wow - fast post thanks! Sadly OH would not be impressed if I put them with a roast - not his cup of tea, hence I need to find a more imaginative way of using them!

Why do we let the boys rule us this way...!??!

Of course!!! Saturday morning, baguette (several of those left from xmas too) and tomato ketchup! Genius, thanks.:j
  • I make these for DS's breakfast. He sometimes has them with beans and/or egg on toast. Another favourite is to cook them, then slice thinly into an omelette.

I agree with adding them to a roast - we use them to pad out when we have a gamebird that won't quite stretch.

We call them *pigs* - short for pigs in blankets :D
