Hi there,
I'm 33 weeks pregnant and due to be travelling to Dublin next week for 2 days. I've phoned a few insurance places for quotes, but none cover up to my stage in pregnancy. Does anyone know of any that would be willing to quote me, or alternatively what else I could do? I'm travelling with my husband and daughter. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi I assume you are not flying to dublin.
I doubt you will find any insurance at this stage of your pregnancy.
However you would be eligble for the old e1 11 recprical health schme.
check out the link below and apply online....

this has to be done before you go.
hope this helps if you intend to travel0 -

i can't name any company specifically, but you could check on the British Insurance Broker's Association (BIBA) website www.biba.org.uk and go to find a Broker section and you can find a liste of specialist companies to cover you.0

If you have an E111 then it's out of date! It was replaced with the EHIC card a couple of years ago so make sure that is what you actually have.0

Hi - too late for you I know, but I spent hours contacting over 30 leading companies who will only cover pregnant women up to 28-32 weeks. I then found out about the only company in the UK who insure pregnant women up to 36 weeks - phew! :j Go straight to Ravenhall Risk Solutions on 01484 402256. They provide full cover up to 36 weeks of pregnancy. See www.ravenhallgroup.co.uk. It took them just 10 minutes to sort me out over the phone, and emailed over the policy straight away. Brilliant company!0
