Fundraising through web searches - Can you help-

Hi all,
My name is colin stone, I am the director, founder, and webmaster of the International Costello Syndrome Support group (ICSSG)

We are a very small charity, our Registered Charity No: 1085605

We are small, simply because Costello Syndrome is so rare, with less then 300 people diagnosed in the world and around 15 people in the UK we are finding it impossible to get grants from the "normal" funding bodies.

Our charity helps families world wide, as well as proficing information and support. Be that on the phone or through the web. We are also involved in research into this rare disorder. It is expected that within the next few the Study of Costello Syndrome will pave the way for a Cure for some types of Cancer. (to be published in the summer of 2008)

Some readers may have seen my daughter (Helaina)on the cover of womens own magazine, and in tne news before Christmas, as she was one of 2007 womens own Children of Courage winner.

We are having success using Everyclick as a fundrasing search engine. We use Everyclick, and through web searches we have raised over 220 pounds so far. But we can raise more, if we had more people searching and supporting our cause.

Hi All

I do at least one fundraising event each year, last year I ran Marathon Des Sables in Morocco for Facing Africa. I used to use justgiving but was always unhappy that for every tenner that was donated about 98p was taken up in transaction charges.

Then I heard about a new website (from the thirdsector.com website http://www.thirdsector.co.uk/Channel.../login/772237/ ) that is launching in 2 weeks time called www.mycharitypage.com it's free for my charity to register and on a £10 donation + gift aid my charity will receive the full £12.82!! Fantastic.
