what is the online discount code??

    thanks

you dont need a code for the online discount.

just buy your tickets from their website and the discount will be automatically given at checkout.

you will be asked before hand if you want to give a 10% gift aid donation. just tick yes or no depending on your choice.

Not been to Chester Zoo for many years and fancy a little visit during the half term. Wondering if anyone knew of any codes please. Many thanks
  • Not got any codes but I've noticed Carden Park are doing Chester Zoo tickets and Carden Park Family Break from only £130.00 Bed & breakfast per room per night - http://www.cardenpark.co.uk/accommodation.html.

Not sure if this is the type of thing you're interested in but I'd thought I'd point it out anyway!!

if u go to the cheshire oaks outlet, the tickets are cheaper, we paid £33quid for 2 adults and child as opposed to £43 at the gates.

2 adults and one child going at the end of the month.

Anyone know of any money off vouchers? - all the ones I can find expired in 2007...

Hi, if you go to cheshire oaks which is about 5-10mins away from chester zoo, go to the info desk and buy your tickets there, we saved over £10.00 on 2adults 1child,

at the zoo we priced our tickets at £43.95 at cheshire oaks they cost us £32.95

And you get to fasttrack with the tickets so theres no queing it is fab.

On the restaurant vouchers page of MSE there's a voucher I think for La Tascas which is in Chester (at the bottom of bridge street- there's a crossroads where it becomes lower bridge street- its around there) and there's a pizza express which has a deal on at the minute for £10 I think (this is by Cruise (the nightclub) and the back of Marks and Spencer).

You can get good value pub food at the Albion which is a small pub serving real beers and nice (but very filling) food- its a proper locals place decorating in war memorabilia. It only does limited dining times and is sneakily hidden away past habitat and down the next side road (sort of opposite Piccolinos) and on the left. Oh and it doesn't do children I don't think so not sure if that limits you.

Drinks discounts- cocktails at the slug and lettuce (bridge street) are buy one get one free I think 4pm til 10pm Thurs/Fri/Sat maybe (check as I'm not 100% about the days!) and sometimes you can get a Living Room (by the Cathedral) offer on their drinks if you sign up with their website?

Not seen any discounts for the buses but if there was a flyer with one it it'd be likely to be at the Tourist info bit by the Town Hall (by the Cathedral)...

I've got a feeling the Cathedral is free (its a long time since I've been in) but they ask for a "donation"!

Not sure that the river cruise thing is worth it particularly (imho) as you can walk the route it takes for free! If you use the big iron bridge to cross to the other side of the river you can walk the footpath in the meadows which runs along the river- the boat just does that for 15 minutes and then turns round.

There's another thread on the Zoo tickets- cheapest place seems to be Cheshire Oaks to buy them at (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/682907) ... Blue Planet aquarium is probably the same (but both of these are a bus ride out from Chester).

Hope that helps, let me know if you need any more!
