Belling -astounding

Here's the short version.

Buy a Gas oven made by Belling. Install it Saturday. Open main oven door for the first time, and the outer glass (there is inner glass as well) explodes into a million pieces. There must have been some sort of weakness in it for this to happen so easily.

I dread making the phone call to Belling, fully expecting them to argue that it was an "accident" and their guarantee doesn't cover accidents.

I make the phone call this morning. Belling do not argue AT ALL, and at that point I expect them to send out an engineer with a new piece of glass for the door, or a new door. Nope, wrong again. Belling will deliver a brand new cooker, Wednesday morning.
I am gob smacked.
If only all companies were like this.
