    I really need to start doing this instead of spending 85p on coffee twice a day, £1.75 on a baguette and 55p on soup :confused:

    Quite scary on a yearly scale that its about £1000 :eek:

    Not much here today, except posting a letter to the US! (Its a school project for my son, they have to get a reply from somewhere interesting and my aunty lives there).

    And 10p on printing out 1 sheet in the library!

    Lightbulb moment - September 2006.
    Got organised, got a joint account, stopped overspending.
    Debt free date: December 2009 - we can do it!

    Halve our debt in 2008 / Pay off the rest in 2009

    Goals by July 2008:
    * Former employer overpayment with £1,800 remaining...
    * 0% Virgin Credit card with £1,800 (we needed a holiday...!)
  • NSD day for me am not at work today because i'm feeling a bit bleh and soick (not the nicest thing in the world)
    So instead of spending it at work on lunch i'll try and make it today

    hubby has to get washing powder, chilli powder and milk and bread, but hes doing that whilst in work ( community car driver)and out of our petty cash but tonight we are picking up a free playstation off the swapshop with local council, so hoping its going to be ok, and if it is we are taking it to the grandparents house in bulgaria and leaving it there for the hols!
    and have some orders with the jewelley making scheme so have to do that!
    and have veg chilli in slow cooker so ive been busy!

    Just £2.11 on a box of ready brek ( 50% extra free, bonus! ) & a tin of tomatoes. I only had £2.11, so really pleased.
    Found 2p on the way home from the shop:j
    Got to make it through until Thursday now, without pinching any from the kids, think i'll need bread tomorrow though, so may need to borrow some from my RICH children!!
    Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner :beer:
