just wondering if anyone can help...
I bought my son a new computer for christmas and the disk drive was working fine, anyway after a few days it wasn't working-no disks were playing etc, I thought that maybe he had just disabled it or something and have only just really got around to having a look, anyway while nosing around I've found that it is saying that the problem code is 39, but haven't been able to find out what that means.
Does anyone have any ideas and would I be best just returning it?
thank you in advance for any assistance

Have you looked in device manager to see if there are yellow explanation marks ?
