Outlook 2002

I am having problems trying to get Outlook 2002 to automatically check for new messages, without having to click on Send/Receive every time. I've tried Google and Microsoft's support site - but no luck. Thanks

    At the foot of that dialogue box ....

    Schedule an automatic send/receive every x minutes - tick this (both instances, if you want it to check when you're offline).
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)

    Tools->Options->Mail Setup->Send/Receive
    Under "When outlook is online"
    Tick "Schedule an automatic send and receive" and put in the number of minutes (default is 5 I think).

    It works - 10/10 for accuracy and speed of response!
