Have you seen their interest rates?, use a Credit Card.
( If you really must buy from them ).0 -

Well if you see on their website it does says interest free period of between 6 to 10 months, if i pay them full until that period i dont need to pay any extra.
So my question is still there , how hard is their credit check system ?
Thanks.0 -
More than likely very difficult in the current climate.0

It's impossible to say how hard their credit check is. A check is not "standard" and each company decides what the "pass" criteria is. It could be influenced by your job, address, salary ... it will almost certainly take account of current debt levels and, of course, your current credit record.
And - as robt says - all lenders are getting a little more "picky" at the moment.
All you can do is apply and see what happens.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
Hfc bank are the lenders for currys dixons pc world and comet . And from my experience its not easu to get credit and of course if you are refused at one then you refused at all because its the same company

there are much better deals out there. retail store credit is very expensive.

or better still, save up for your new PC/TV/HIFI etc...Get some gorm.0 -
Just to let you know all HFC interest free options have a £25 settlement fee if settling the balance within the interest free period.
So if taking the 6 month option, as the others said there's cheaper options!0
