Juta thought could younot reduce it to a 2yr loan? Iknow yousaidyou wanted to pay it off quicker, but the only wayyou would be able to do that is pay the remaining balance.

Also do you need 2 contract phones? x

I would say its not looking good. I think you would know by now. I would think that you have a rejection letter coming in the post.

I applied for a loan online with my bank (Lloyds) and had the money in my bank within the hour.

Not with LLoyds thay have a thing that you can do online so there is no paperwork and it goes into the account on the same day.

I really wonder whether anyone who takes out a second mobile phone contract because he is 'bored' with his current mobile phone is really mature enough to take on a bank loan.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
  • Hiya,

If we all had to be 'mature' to take out debt then I'll bet most of us wouldn't be here :rotfl:

If you are looking to pay back the loan in a few months is there any reason you can't just save £1000 instead?

Based on your figures it would only take a few months. That way if you have any emergencies like you lose your job or go under a bus you won't have the stress and hassle of the loan as well. Also means all your monies are belonging to you! ie you pay no interest.

who said anything about being mature to get a loan; its about affordability, if i can control my monthly payments thats all that matters. sure a little bit of maturity is needed, thats why i am not asking for a 10k loan for a car at the age of 19 even though there are some out there who have.

i have payments of roughly £200 a month including the 2 contracts, car insurance, let alone petrol, living costs etc and i have never missed a payment.

if u aint got nothing productive to say dont post;u r just a waste of space mate. get a life.

sorry to those who are actually helping but i dont tolerate those who just take the p***.
    Don't get cocky!
Your first posting was reasonable and mature - since then you come across as a spoiled prat.

"dont get cocky", mate id like to see you say that face to face. sitting behind a computer saying it is one thing, in person i dont think i would have even given u chance to call me spoilt.

    im gone

Unfortunately you've actually displayed the maturity people suspected with this last post. People here were only trying to help, and your responses will not exactly help if you want any advice in the future.

Skint, but I have a plan.... an MSE Plan!!!
