Hi, love the website =]
I was just wondering- I have a Northern Rock Moneyspinner classic account, that I've had since I was a kid. I've always had to have both my mam and dad there when I took out money.. but I was wondering, now I'm 18, do I still need them there?

    Hi Melanie,

Presumably the pass book or what ever you have proving the account is in your sole name?

You are now an adult, you can do what ever you like.

This includes buying a motorbike with the money and putting the fear of God into your long suffering parents:D

I speak as the father of a daughter who has done just that, I think it is called a Honda 600 or perhaps that is the speed it can go at:rolleyes:

When your children are 17 they know their parents know nothing and are completely out of touch, by the time they get to 22 they are amazed at how much sense their parents have learned in 5 years.
