Is it a good idea not to allow Google to crawl your forum due to bad links could be placed in topics?

What exactly do you mean - your post doesn't make much sense? Google can not post on your fourm?0

Not allowing Google to read post on your forum and list them in search results just in case someone places spamming links to get you website penalized0

Surely it would be better to address the spam before it became a problem? Using captcha's or moderators for example.
If your forum has a lot of spam, then yes Google will penalise you, only because forums with a lot of spam in them have very little that anyone searching would want to look at in the first place.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
