Hiya,

I was going to listen to an internet radio broadcast at a certain time tomorrow night (http://ashbyradio.co.uk/index.php) but I'll be out of the house at that time - is there any freeware/shareware which would allow me to record the stream from 6-8pm?

Thanks for any help!

It's pretty funny (to me) that you made this exact post, asking JUST the right question for me to answer, haha.

Anyways, the past month i've been putting together a website and forum that discusses EXACTLY this, and I've got a post titled "How to record any internet radio show", yeah..well I think it's funny at least

Anyways, check it out here: Record Internet Radio
It talkes about a program called Replay A/V that lets you schedule, record, and even EMAIL pretty much ANY internet radio show.
And let me know if you have any questions, you can reply here, or you can join the forum on my site (my name there is MediaGuru).
I usually respond to all posts within 12-24 hours, so yeah

anyways, I don't know if you'll be out of the house due to work, or vacation, but have a safe trip, and I hope I was able to help a bit! :-)

The £25.50 charge for the software makes it freeware or shareware? :rotfl:

That'd be shareware, not all shareware is free you know! LOL

Seriously though, I use this program, I paid full price for it, and it's great!
  • Then again, there is also Freecorder, which is 100% free. It's a free toolbar (ie and firefox plug in) that lets you Record songs,Extract Audio from Videos, Record Internet Radio.,Record from your PC's Microphone or Line-in ports and other cool things. It's a bit more limited, and you can't schedule with it like you can with replay av (which I mentioned above), but it's free and might be useful still!

    I hope THIS helps. :-)
