Over the past 15 months i've been running firstly with a Virgin card then a Liverpool Footbal club card (both through MBNA) to get funds transfered into my current account but the Liverpool card 0% is about to run out. Can anyone advise me if MBNA do SBT thorough all there credit cards or is it just certain ones i.e Virgin, Liverpool Football etc??
Will i be able to get another Virgin card to do a SBT seen as i have already had one?
I have got £10000 at 0% on my egg card till 01/12/05 and £6000 at 0% on my capital one card until 01/03/06 to transfer the funds from my Liverpool card onto, but i want to try and get as much money in my bank account as possible as this has been a good little earner for me over the past 15 months(about £700 interest form my ING account).
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Regards
Antony

Hi Antony,
I haven't personally checked every one of them, but I believe that all MBNA cards can be used for SBTs. However, most of them now charge a fee for doing a balance transfer - typically 2% with a maximum of £50 - but the Virgin card doesn't. With MBNA you really need to read the small print and to call them up to check whether the will apply fees or not.
MBNA used to be quite happy with people having multiple cards but seem to have changed their policy. I have read of quite a number of people who have been rejected for the Virgin card on the grounds that they already had an MBNA one.
You can see a list of many of the MBNA cards here
