Now - not much winds me up - and although I spend AGES and AGES reading this site, I generally don't post - especially new thread - as just finding which board to put them on without getting shouted at would cause me a lack of sleep... :P
However - in my MONEY SAVING travels - I found this site;
http://www.sweetcollect.co.uk/smarties.php
It's you usual FREEBIE site (or so you'd think) but it appears to be targetted at a much younger generation.
Free tube of smarties for signing up... Adult or child target?
And then - a free sherbet twizzle straw thing for every offer you complete...
I personally feel this is aimed at a younger generation than the adults that these referral links are intended for - and children shouldn't be giving details of their mobiles/telephone numbers/contracts/income and all sorts to sites like this.
Hey - I think it's wrong. Maybe I've gotten my @ss in my hand over nothing here - but with the whole campaign to get debt ads off childrens tv stations during daytime hours (which is a bloody good point) I just thought it was apt.

Stay well clear of that site. I've known others sign up to it and get e-mail boxes full of spam and no sweetiesHere I go again on my own....0
-
And spam does not taste as good, no matter what you do with it. Give me a mint Aero bar any day...:DIt is not the bullet with your name on it, rather the one addressed "to whom it may concern" that should worry you!0
-
But it's mainly the fluffy appeal to kids that p*sses me off. How much does mummy and daddy get on their mortgage? Tell us they're in deby and we'll send you a tube of smarties to use as a pretend telescope when we've taken the house from your parents..."Only the dead have seen the end of war" - Plato :silenced:0
