so basically you are out there for 9 months out of 12 and it could be seen as your main residence? if this is the case is it not cheaper to get private medical insurance or is it that getting a travel insurance is cheaper? if it is because of the latter then just be careful as they may not deem it as travel insurance as in reality you are living there more than you are in the UK/

perhaps companies such as saga maybe able to help, they I presume deal with many people who live part the time in teh UK and part the time abroad

So if one policy will cover two trips, you need 3 policies every two years averaging £210 per year.

    Check out https://www.insurefor.com
or contact a good local insurance broker and let them find you the cover at a good rate.If you do not know one locally might be worth trying https://www.flexicover.com or https://www.holidayextras.co.uk both of whom are well established and reputable internet brokers .
  • Hi Kevina2569
Saw your thread and noticed requirements were similar to my own.
www.staysure.co.uk can do cover for AMT with any number of trips up to 100 days for £70.43 (also cover lots of pre-existing conditions FOC)
    Hope this helps
