A good example of 'Check the customer reviews before you buy'!!
My wife ordered this Kenwood JE770 '3-in-1' juicer. Only when she got it and though it too large, did she think of checking the reviews.
Shock horror! The concensus seems to be a) it leaks fruit juice out of the base into places wher you can't clean it (one buyer said they had fruit flies breeding in it! b)it's too large, c)it doesn't do what it's claimed to do and it's a thoroughly bad design.
Should newspapers check the reviews before making 'offers'?

Shock Horror !! I think the responsibility lies with the purchaser.
Why not take responsibility for your own actions and not blame others for your own mistakes.0 -
But if a newspaper has selected it as a Reader Offer it may appear that the newspaper is making some sort of recommendation of the product to their readers, as it is set apart from a regular advertisement and has the newspapers endorsement.0
