Ford Privilege Scheme

My father is a Ford Pensioner and so we have always been able to use the Ford Privilege Vouchers to our advantage. My sister in law has asked whether she would be allowed a voucher. Looking on the current list of allowed people it appears that Ford are less strict than they used to be and now include in laws, step and half relations. Has anybody any experience of this? Thanks -

I think only if your sister in law is married to your brother and not your husband's brother.
You father should ring Ford and ask, just to be sure.0 -
Ford have definately expanded their list of entitlement as my wife is the neice of a Ford employee and she is entitled to the privilege discount scheme. Would you or anyone know what the percentage discount is and is it standard or does it differ, dependant on the car model?
Many thanks.0 -
the privelege shceme has changed,it includes more relatives to ford employees and the discounts arent just as good as they were.
the discounts are not percentages any more,it seems every quarter the discounts on different models change, best way to find the list is to ask the ford employee to request it from ford.

Used to get cars via my lovely dad til he passed away, now get them thru my bro in law (married to my sister), I can't afford brand new - but my son goes thru his uncle, so to speak, for his.
The discount is lousy these days and varies. There is no percentage off like there used to be, just a certain amount which varies from car to car. Its a bit pants really...
Back in the good old days.... say the seventies, I could get a car and sell it a year later for the same or more than I bought it for. Not now..:(Genie
