Cruise & Stay - LA / Mexican Riviera / Vegas

Hi,

I would like a little feedback with regards to a holiday I'm currently considering. My partner has always fancied Vegas but we feel the options are limited leaving from Glasgow.

I seen this deal locally & I thought it was a great price for £899. I think the inside cabins have sold out, it's now an outside cabin at £949 which is available. Details are:

Glasgow - Heathrow
Heathrow - LA
2 nights LA

7 nights Mexican Riviera Cruise on board the Vision of the Seas (Royal Caribbean)

LA - Vegas
3 nights Vegas

Vegas - Chicago
Chicago - London
London - Glasgow

I was just looking for feedback from someone who may have done something similar, been on the ship etc. Also, the journey back seems a nightmare, is it really that bad?

We have actually booked to go back to Riviera Maya in Mexico in October (would be 2nd visit), the intention is to move the holiday to May 2009.

Any experiences / opinions welcome.

A colleague actually done this last Feb and really enjoyed it .. you have been quoted a really good price by the looks of it.. only thing i'd say is extend your stay in vegas a couple of days if at all possible.
:hello: Lets all save a £ or two, lets all earn a £ or two, and lets all enjoy spending that £ or two wisely.

Went on a 3 day Med cruise on Voyager of the Seas a couple of years ago. Very big, brash and American!! Excellent food and loads to do on the ship, eg ice rink, shopping mall, rock climbing wall if you're that way inclined (pardon the pun):j :j :j
