I'm 26 and will be 27 in april. Still feel like a teenager though, almost as if I'm playign at being a mum etc. Weird.
Ditto! Or at least... I think I'm 26...
Yes we need to see Pigpen's nails!
Oh, and would it be ok to wear a black satin trim formal jacket that is about knee length over a purple dress that is calf length to this !!!!!!! wedding? It's Febuary in Scotland it will be freezing!0 -

Right, DS1s face is purple because he won't stop self harming, punching himself in the face etc, they had a trip out all day at school today and unsure if it's that which has put him in a bad mood. Then he wants to play on the Wii, I say ok then the darn thing won't work, I'm clueless with consoles so they'll have to wait until DP gets in. If only things were 'perfect' all the time which is what he expects! He has given up asking for chocolate however
they eventually realising no means no!
JillD I would love a cuppa, definately need one.........
Sorted accounts muck up, all present and correct now, hopefully! Not as bad as I thought it'd be, suppose paying the extra bill of means I will just have to be a little extra careful this month, means not having the £20 a month it was coming out so that'll help..
Ouch re your DS, congrats on sorting the accounts! and here you go :coffee::coffee::coffee:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

You so that cuppa Lil_me!
Oh dear there seems to be trouble ahead for the weight loss thread, hope we dont get a backlash about this one!
And just so this one is about flylady - I need to rehoover the lounge I did before I picked DD1 up from school because the littles snack crumbs are all over the carpet. Now I know why my hoovers tend to wear out after 12 months,
Best crack on with tea too, although after the 3!!!! curly wurlys i scoffed early I am not feeling that hungry!0 -
Can I wear this over my purple dress?
can I buy it anyway? :rotfl:
Clothes kinda sorted out, dinner for the kids is on. They are both still alive which is a minor miracle...
Lots of April birthdays! DS2 is April, my dad is April and two nieces are April. Oh and both my Grand mother's were April birthdays too.0 -
Thought I'd try to sort out the B&C insurance - what a bloody nightmare! As we were broken into last month and had to claim on both buildings (door and alarm) and contents - stuff they nicked, we've either been turned down by a load of insurers or the premiums have been sky high. Even following the lovely :money: steps didn't help much cause the comparison sites make so many assumptions that you still have to contact them individually anyway.
The upshot of this is that after 3 hours of typing in details, making umpteen phone calls etc that I went back to my regular insurers and eventually managed to knock them down £180 on the renewal premium they originally quoted me. Phew.............thank god that's done for another year. Um, a bit longer than the 30 mins I'd intended.
Tia - if you're still short on knickers, ask lil_me if you can have hers - it was her who was going commando earlier in the week wasn't it
Pollybear - glad your pusscat OK
Right, off to measure myself before I go to my first WW meeting in ages - would it be unethical to wear loads of clothes and put something heavy in my pockets to give myself a head start for next week?
See yas........
LGI'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Another carpy day...8 hours at work, then £260 bill for car!
Taken doggy for a muddy walk in the woods, and rang HFC for a final settlement on Loan 1, ~ £780.34! That will leave me a couple of hundred to stick on credit card. Just got to wait a couple of weeks for pay then I can get rid of one loan!
Lina, ewwwwwwww aren't children the most vile things. Well ok dogs are close raph, mines got his head in my shoe at the minute, yuk!
I'd much rather have a dog than kids anyday!A friend keeps offering me hers, but I always turn her down. :rotfl:
My thoughts tonight are with those facing yet more really bad weather, I am sure I ended up with a drop of water on me in the conservatory earlier (it better flippin' not rain in as my PC is in there) and that was enough to worry me, so fingers crossed we don't get a repeat of last summer.
My car has a small leak in the windscreen, when it's been raining heavily, I always get wet when I drive it!!
