Hi,
I had a IP65 light fitted above my shower. I understand it is waterproof....similar to following:
http://www.thelightbulbshop.co.uk/Shop/LightFixtures/Bathroom-Downlights/
The bulb has now fused but i can't seem to unscrew the light cover.
Am i being dumb or is it not possible to change the bulb from the front??
Also, do i need a specific waterproof spotlight?
Thanks

Dependant on type make and model most waterproof one,s you gentle pull the fitting down some have sprung clips etc with the fitting hanging so to speak from the ceiling you would now be able to access the bulb some have clip that hold bulb in place you can now unplug the bulbinstall new one, push fitting back up (ensure that if a transformer is fitted you push this away from the fitting when pushing back)The fitting should say what maximum wattage voltage etc if unsure remove bulb and take it with you to electrical wholesalers and ask for the same they would normally be able to show you how to re fit the bulb and fitting as most have them on display if your not sure always turn of the power for lighting circuit at consumer unit (fuseboard )
Dependant on fitting theses may help
