Thanks for reading, sorry it was a long one!!

Ok, so its a great start and I have noted some comments above. Redo the missed out things and post a total you have available for debts every month.

Then we can help you work out what should be paid first and where you can throw any excess too. You may want to speak to CCCS or payplan too as they can help you do this and write to all your creditors.

    Glad to see you here!

    HSBC Overdraft 2 - £902.79 18.9& APR

I put in a cheque to the money shop for £100 and they give me £86 cash - they then cash it a month later - it's basically cash in advance, the reason why it is £125 is because my cheque bouned and they charged £25
SSE Energy - £200- repayment offered of £30 starting Jan 08 cant offer to make repayments properly yet until you look at all your debts and come up with a full realistic plan where everyone is given pro rata according to balances.
This was made in December, D/D was set up then, this needs to be cleared before my teancy ends on 8th Feb 08 so may have to pay as a lump sum

Well done for listing everything. I think you may find keeping a spending diary may help. Not only will you think abou stuff twice before you spend it but you may also find out how much you spend for the hair cuts etc so that you can start tackling them.
I've just spent my advantage points on a hair razor and am planning to start cutting OH hair for him. He's not got money problems but it will save £5 - £6 per cut. Mmmmm maybe i can charge OH and use the income towards some of my debts lol :)
Good luck and keep plugging away, you need to get your credit card back within it's limit as well, not only will you be charged lots of interest but they'll probably charge you an amount every month on top for being over.
Have you looked into ebaying/ amazoning/ car booting anything which isn't tied down? I made £40 in the space of 3 weeks just before Christmas selling vouchers and dvd's. Not much but it all helps.
  • Well done for all the herd work you have put in, ive just put my SOA on today reading yours was very inspiring

Hi. Don't give up - it's always gonna be hardest at the start but you'll get there. Just a couple of things - electric. I didn't notice that on your SOA.
Also does your employer provide childcare vouchers/does childcare place accept them? Would save you a bit of money if they did. Basically the money for childcare istaken out of your income before you are taxed so you get taxed on less and pay less tax - if you see what I mean. How old is the little one? Can you find another parent and see if they will look after your little one for a morning or 2 a week? Grandparents? What about free nursery places - when children reach a certain age aren't they entitled to a couple of free mornings a week or something?

You also appear to have £1832.33 going out monthly which you need to add electric to but could cut down on the food. This gives you £506.51 to pay all your debts off with and to pay for haircuts/birthdays etc.

    Good Luck with it all.

  • Dont give up keep going. Contact CCCS to see if they can help. Lots of people have got help through this site and managed to deal with similar if not worse situations.

Although I know it is hard (Im feeling a bit fed up myself at the moment!) I am sure we will get through it.

    Ditto
Don't give up, i did:eek: i came on here in jan 2006 with such good intentions:o and did really well for about 6 months (although i was never brave enough to post an SOA :o ) and now my debts are a lot more!
I buried my head in the sand and although used the forums for other things i steered clear of the DFW board:o it wasnt untill i was directed from another board to the MOT thread (thanks MOT) that i have now pulled my head out of the sand and intend to do something about it.
Like Wendy i am really fed up at the mo and wish i had stuck with it.
Keep going however hard it seems, i am really going to give it a go this time.
    Best of luck

  • Thanks Julie its seems hard to go one step forward but so easy to go two back but I must keep trying because I really cant increase it again. Im sure our paths will cross on the boards have you found the long haulers thread yet?

Donnado515, with the help of this site and it letting us vent once in a while, Im sure we will get through it.
