Im trying to find the cheapest method of transport to Gatwick from Bristol.
Im travelling from Gatwick on the 3rd June and need to be there around 9am , and I will be leaving Gatwick on the 10th June at around 8am.
What is cheapest, train, coach or drive?
Thanks in advance..

In the first half of April, start looking for cheap train tickets. Don't forget about journey-splitting: Virgin have a service between Reading and Gatwick that is comfortable and can be very cheap indeed. Of course, you will need separate tickets between Bristol and Reading.
Cheap train tickets are for travel at fixed times, so for your journey home allow plenty of time in case your flight is late and/or clearing Immigration takes a long time.0 -
If there's more than one of you, have a look at a Gatwick Flyaway ticket from Bristol. It's £90 (I think) total for 2/3/4 people. It has the advantage that peak hour restrictions don't apply, you don't need to book for specified trains and it can be bought on the day. (You can't buy it online - only at the station or by phone)
Virgin no longer run between Reading and Gatwick - it's now Arriva who are planning to discontinue the service, which is only 3 or 4 trains a day in any case. Great Western continue to operate an hourly service on the same route, and cheap through advance purchase tickets from Bristol should be available if the Flyaway is unsuitable.0 -
I found something which might work out cheaper, going up the night before and staying in a hotel at the 'russ hill' ......they say £80 for the night including 8 days parking and transfers to gatwick airport.
what do you guys think ? this is form airport hotels 4 u ..
is there a cheaper way of doing this ? as staying up there the night before sounds a little more attractive. although i'l probably have to spend £30 or so quid on petrol.0 -

Looks fine to me. Bear in mind that the parking may not be at the hotel but at an airport car park. You park at the hotel the night of your stay, get given a voucher for the airport car park and drive there next morning and use its transfer service. Just allow plenty of time for it
Also price National Express coaches - there should be a through service though you might have to change at Heathrow.0
