outlook express problem

I`ve had broadband for 12 months now and internet explorer never worked with it.
However I eventually plucked up the courage a few weeks ago and `phoned the Orange customer services dedicated team from India . To be fair OE is now up and running BUT every time I open an Email it automatically deletes itself !
Is there an easy way to resolve this?

It's probably not deleting the emails, purely hiding them from your present view. Open Outlook Express, highlight your chosen email account in the left pane, then click the word 'View' and follow through with 'Current View\Hide Read Messages' and click on the 'Hide Read Messages' there should be a small 'tick' there and by clicking on it, this will remove the 'tick'.

If it doesn't work first time, close Outlook Express, open it and follow the above steps again.
