JVC KD-S6060 Car CD Player Halfords £29

in It's gone, but was it any good?
Hi all,

Went into Halfords today to buy a magic tree and came out with a in car cd player and a tax disc holder ! LOL

But anyway, I found the JVC KD-S6060 Cd Player reduced from £79.99 to £59.99 to £29.99 !!

It`s still £59.99 on the website, the Link is: http://www.halfords.com/opd_product_details.asp?id=18940&type=3&cat=33

I was just after a basic one, and this does the job well. Also if your able to fit it yourself, its a total bargain !!!!

OFFICIAL NOTE

Just to clarify, you have to go instore to get the £29.99 price. The above link shows the product to go for, but if you buy it online it will be £59.99 - not such a bargain!

    I have no idea !! Halfords told me it was now a clearance line.

    Gloucester city centre !! They had loads of other ones too. Some reduced from £499 to £99 with free fitting !!!!!!!!!

    If anyone visits the store again can they post a list of them? I've been waiting for Halfords to drop their prices on headunits but they dont seem to be budging at the moment!

    I tried ringing around 4 branches today. All except one didn't have it in stock ..said it was last year's. One branch had it in but was charging 59.99. I asked about reduced price but having spoken to 2 people separately both agreed on this price....
