  • Dont you think it is better to go with a London Auctioneer as I remember reading somewhere that Londoners are looking further afield to buy cheap investments and Preston is an area where houses are still reatively cheap compared to many parts of the UK?

    Also what is a BMV and how does it work?

    I have a property in Blackburn I bought about 3 years ago and I want to sell it. Should I sell through a local estate agent or an auction house? I cant sell it privately as I live in London.

    I always thought it would be interesting to put a house on the market as normal, then reduce the price by £1,000 per day until sold, all with local newspaper publicity. Probably get more than at auction.
    Been away for a while.
