they haven't offered me any compensation at all for potentially costing me my life!

Also I would like the other offisde front tyre replaced as that is now 5mm and the new one ois 8mm so I'll have to juggle with swopping them near the end of their lives! I think they should guarantee to do this for me as well! Any thoughts?

if it was me i would go down the garage that fitted the tires and if they wont change them for me foc i would sit outside the garage all day and tell every person that goes near the place what they did. see how long it would take them to sort your problem then. at the very least go down there if they wont change them ask for head offices number and phone them in front of the manger of the shop.

That actually crossed my mind earlier today! Will consider it!

I've emailed Trading Standards to ask their advice about it. If they fail to give useful advice then I will go down there and park my butt on their garage entrance with a big banner saying
YOU CAN GET BETTER THAN A KWIK-FIT FITTER!! :T

Make sure you don't do it on Kwik fits premises.Check where the building line ends.If then you are on the highway, they can't say alot.If you spoke to the police about this you then could advise them of your protest. This will then
stop then sending someone out to move you on etc.I am all for it,but I think you should do it right.Get some leaflets printed and hand them out to everyone.Even if they don't use Kwikfit.

I'm still waiting for a reply from Trading Standards. I spoke to them once but now know I didn't actually get past the operator so I have emailed the advice line.

I will get a team together and protest and as you say I will, if necessary, inform the necessary agencies of my protest. Animal Rights people are also protesting in the city centre so maybe we could join up or something!!
