Problems with webmail on an iMac

Hoping someone has some bright ideas!
A friend of mine bought his wife an iMac for Xmas - it's up and running, the browser is Safari. However, when she accesses her Tiscali mail on the web she can only see the top part of each e-mail - the scrollbar is missing and the mouse and 'Down' button don't enable her to see more; the only way she can see the whole mail is by pressing 'Reply' and then reading it on the reply version. She's always accessed her mail on the web and had no problems with her old Dell 8200 using IE.
Weird, but I'm sure there's a simple answer - isn't there???
Thanks!

It could be a security issue, and Safari is blocking parts as the security is set very high. But... you shouldn't have a problem, but you could try installing the Firefox browser instead, a few sites have problems with Safari (only a small percentage).
Firefox from www.getfirefox.com or http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/products/firefox/
And download the Mac OS X version.
We use all manner of webmail sites with no issue at all on the Mac, but not Tiscali...0 -
Thanks - slight problem is that they're down in London, I'm up in the north and they're not PC or Mac savvy. I use FF with XP and Vista, love it, but I've suggested it before to them and they're resistant. I wasn't convinced that, having got them both conversant with a PC, a Mac was the way to go..................
Not sure about the security issue, would that happen with every mail or just the ones with attachments etc? This is happening every time, even on purely text mails.
Thanks for your input! :beer:I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -
