recommended website for summer flowering bulbs
Options
Hi there
I have previously bought bulbs from diy stores and found the bulbs either never come up or sometimes never flower.
Is this because of where i buying the bulbs from .Or am i not planting them in the right conditions ie type of bulb, soil, location etc
These bulbs never get much sun as they are in a shady part of the garden
Any help with this would be grateful
Thanks

Could be a bit of both. I have bought bulbs from DIY sheds with no problems many times. Just make sure when you buy them they are firm to the touch by lightly squeezing them. After that it should just be a matter of planting them out per the instructions and watering. Lack of sunlight and a constantly damp location are not good for bulbs so if you do put them in a very shady area, make sure they have plenty of drainage.0
