Hi, have brand new, fresh out of the box laptop. When running Outlook a warning message pops up every couple of minutes saying that an application is trying to access the Address Book. Laptop has up to date McAffee security suite and scans clean. Router also has a double firewall, operating system is XP. Any suggestions please? Thanks

If the application is Outlook Express that's fine, just select the option to always allow it access and you won't see the message again.
You need to 'teach' your new laptop which applications are genuine and which are not, once you've done that for all applications you won't get any more warnings.0 -
It's not Outlook Express, but "full version" - does that make a difference?0

my guess is that it would be ok to allow this but without seeing the exact error message and your Mcafee settings it's hard to be sure0

Might want to check in mcafee what you are allowing and what you are not, sometimes it gives the file path to the program.0
