We used Kays for years, when they changed hands we had an issue with a del that never showed up, we cancelled the order but they kept insisting by post that w owed them the money for it. Everytime I spoke to them on the phone they agreed we didn't owe them money and that it was a system fault as they were changing systems. In the end the'system' turned it over to a debt recovery agent and hubby got a credit file black mark.
We have had it removed, we involved equifax who were excellant and really helpful, but it meant we got refused a loan in the meantime. We closed the account after 3 mths of letters and phonecalls which finnally resolved the issue except they wont shut the account, we can still log in, have cashback sitting there and can order. They even send us discount codes to try and entice us! No chance!!
