If you have relatively 'new' hotmail address you're not supposed to be able to use OE with it. For some reason they stopped you doing it, I assume to make you look at the adverts but older address are still okay apparently.0

You could use Windows Live Desktop Mail? (or whatever it is called today). Don't know if you need to pass validation to download it or not.
And yes - buy a proper version of windows, otherwise it is theft.0 -
He can't install Live Mail because it's a dodgy copy of Windows.

Not being funny, but given your debt, perhaps Limewire might be a better source of getting Microsoft Office - it's free!
I have "heard" that it works absolutely fine from someone who uses it regularly and you even download the user set up code, so it updates ok and everything.
In answer to your original question - you just go into OE and choose Tools/Options/Mail Set up/Email accounts and then add account and you might be able to add it in there as long as you've got a fairly old hotmail account.
Microsoft are trying to clamp down on people using free email accounts with OE. Think you should be ok if you've got a .com account as opposed to a .co.uk account.
HTH
The OP does not want Microsoft Office.
You should NOT encourage theft. Post reported.0 -
It's quite sad when someone can't try to make a point without insulting someone else. I don't need to 'get a life', I have a perfectly good one

I do alot of comping and have both an outlook express type email address and a hotmail one
what i do is have my outlook express email account set up so that any replies to emails I send from the specific email address within outlook express are sent to hotmail.
I have my details saved on the computer so whenever I come across an email competition I click on the link for the competition, it opens outlook express up with the email address I use and then I just paste the answer and my details in and send ( I always put my hotmail address as the email address)Weight Loss - 102lb0
