    I will shortly be off the my Weight Watchers meeting, last week, I bought a magazine (budgeted for), only to find that some of the pages were ripped out :mad:. Today I will take it back, rather than buy a new one.

    So you think the person who pulled the pages out was from MSE?

    Only taking the pages they needed :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Only joking - i'd be furious if that happened to me - especially if it was in the middle of a good story :mad:

  • Today I made a large chilli and a spag bol sauce and divided them up into portions and stuck in freezer. I also made a couple of soups and once again, divided them up and froze. I often work late and it is all too easy call at chippy on way home so I will save money and be healthier!
    Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time :mad:

    Hi,

    Things for today;

    Tesco;

    Took back Tesco de-icer which had a faulty top and broke the first time I used it. Lid also cracked to bits when i first opened it. So refunded 97p at Customer Services

    Also got 2 till receipts with points added.

    Brought reduced small bananas, reduced corriander, tesco value cordial for 19p just to use a 20 points coupon, 1 x reduced long life skimmed milk, snacks for DH (he's paying for that) and magazines (not so DFW).

    Used £2.20 in money off coupons.
    Also used extra point coupons for milk, fruit, cordial and a till spit for spending over £1.60 on crisps and snacks and 1 point for re-using a bag. One of my extra points coupons actually deducted 20p from my shopping.

    M&S;

    3 X 227g of medium roast fairtrade coffee in a fancy tin (must have been brought out for X'mas? - reduced to £1.12 each - long use by date - something like September. DH paying for 2 and 1 I am stashing away to put as part of Valentines gift hamper.

    Asda;

    1 X Asda decaf coffee for DH (he's paying for it)
    8 x Asda/ Asda smart price tins of chopped/ plum tomatoes (reduced to 13p, 15p, 17p each)
    1 x cornflour - reduced to 28p as slight rip on top of box - dated until late 2009
    6 x pk Mller probiotic drink reduced to under 70p as ripped packaging with a use by date until end of this month
    Used 40p in coupons

    Ripped out the free 3 x 7 x 5" photos coupon at the back of the Boots magazine when I got home.

    That's all so far. :D
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
    Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)
  • Me? Well....
