Re Cinema tickets - if you live near to a Cineworld cinema and you attend regularly it worth getting the unlimited card for £11.99 a month. For this you can see as many films as you want without paying anything extra.
My partner and I were always trying to think of things to do but now we have this we going to the cinema on average 1 a week. In December I think we went 8 times!! You get to see lots of films you wouldn't normally want to shell out for.
We take nibbles and drinks in in my handbag but its worth knowing that some cinemas actually check women's handbags before they let you through the the screen. Our local Cineworld hasn't ever done this but the previous one always did without fail every time.[Survey site stuff goes here]0 -

Seriously.... if that was me I would go in one day without anything... be upset they checked and then do a letter of complaint. Should secure some tickets ... which cinema wants to go through the ordeal of press coverage for doing airline style checks to see a film. They'll have popcorn detectors next
On a high note: 101 thank yous, thanks everyone.0 -

Just learnt that if you buy M&S clothing online with a code and then refund without a receipt, you usually* get the non discounted amount back in vouchers.
I am wondering whether this is a moral thing and should be left out the guide or not?
* They refund at the lowest instore price so on occassion you may find the item has been in an instore sale and therefore refunded at a lower price than purchase unless you provide a receipt. In my case I was £40 up.0 -
Probably best to leave it out as the facility to refund without requiring a receipt (in honest cases) is very useful and may be withdrawn if loopholes like this become too popular.0

Please remove Heinz's link from your list of tips or at the very least give credit to the OP.
As regards any Telephony tips would users please read Martin's articles and the relevant discussion threads. Same with any shopping tips, credit cards, insurance, cash back etc you'll find a resource bar on each board which links to the relevant articles and discussion threads.0 -
