    SB, thanks for the reply but................

    You can take it as read that the timers are all set appropriately, with the Heating switched to off (to override the timer) and with the heating temprature dial turned all the way down - Heating is therefore off and does not come on.

    I still get one / two warm rads. As I said I expected the bathroom one to be on / warm but the downstairs toilet one tends to be really warm and sometimes another rad. The only heat being generated is when the hot water is used and I cannot beleive that should be generating this type of heat exchange - unless I have a problem.

    Any comments..................

    What kind of system have you got. There are a number of reasons why this happens depending upon your system. Is it gravity circs/ hot water and pumped central heating or is it fully pumped ?? :confused:
