Does anyone have a web address that gives the number you can call from abroad when you want to get through, for example, to a bank's telephone banking service from abroad? I have found some 0845 numbers obtainable (eg from Germany) but others not (eg from the US). I heard that there was a website that listed banks numbers that were all obtainable from overseas. My bank is the coop, 08457 212212.
Thanks in advance.

Check the back of your card - some have numbers printed on there for just that reason.... failing that https://www.saynoto0870.co.uk is a good start pointThere are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -

Telephone Banking phone 08457 212 212 (or +44 1695 53760 if calling from overseas).Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0 -

If you are having difficulty getting through to a 0845 number from overseas, then if you can't obtain a geographical number, the just dial in to +44779 231 6447 (pre-dial.com's orange access number). Wait for the voice prompt, then key in the 0845 number.
This won't save any money, but could just allow you to make vital contact in a difficult situation.0
