Spark Energy - Atlantic

Hi,

I'm moving my gas and electric pre payment metre to another company.

Yesterday when I checked on simply switch I had cheaper electric from BG and Gas from Atlantic.

Today when I checked it again - It is now showing cheaper electric through BG but Gas changed to Spark Energy.

Any idea what's going on? Has Atlantic increase there prices?

Also if I go ahead with Spark or Atlantic - How is the service like?, Can I straight away provide actual metre readings once I receive my bill? I heard once that Altlantic can only accept actual metre reading every 6 months - Is that true?

You can provide Atlantic with actual meter readings at any time you wish, in fact the more you give the better. Atlantic - as part of Scottish and Southern Energy - send meter readers out every 6 months, but that doesn't mean you can't provide readings in between times. Also Atlantic haven't announced any price increases yet. Hope this helps a little.

Spark doesnt supply pre payment meters at present but you could get your present supplier to install a normal meter then change to spark who do seem to be the cheapest at present.
