Num Lock won't work

Hi

My Num Lock on my laptop won't work. Is there any way it could have been switched off somehow or is it just broken??

    Seriously though, my num lock is still not working and the number o doesn't work either. I tried going into bios, and pressed f12 when starting up and nothing happened. F2 did work. Maybe f12 isn't working either? Please help...
