Is a NETGEAR DG834 a wireless router or not ?
It is an ADSL2+
Modem router with 4 port 10/100 Mbps switch
It connects other computers at the moment with ethernet cables but I dont know if It can be used as wireless as well ?????

No it is not wireless. If you want that you need the DG834GT.

If it is already being used as a wired router, you can add an access point to enable wireless networking (a bit cheaper than a new DG834G) - This is the basic Netgear offering

Amazon or Ebuyer sell them for about £36

Or buy an 834G or 834GT and sell the 834 on ebay. They make quite good money.
