I wanna cheap week somewhere HOT, soonish

hi all

Id really like a week ( 10- days would be better mind you) to somewhere hot.

Im probably going to have to take it unpaid, so I would love 10 days including both weekends IYSWIM. Id love it if it could encompass valentines Id like to go somewhere at the tail end of Jan, to the 3rd week of feb. Work committments mean I cant go any later than that.

Its for 2 of us and we can fly from any london or bournemouth, or southampton. ( bournemouth or Soton better, as we have to take dog to inlaws before we leave)

I dont want TOOOO much activity, but also dont want an "all inclusive experience". Ideally, Id get us flights and a guesthouse somewhere . Id like activities to include some sort of hiking/ walking, watersports, nice food, markets, and alcohol! Like culture and to feel like im truly abroad with plenty of local flavour.

Not really into Europe, but would be interested in
any carribbean ( apart from Dom rep, been there wasnt into it)
any south america
any east indian ocean
any india
any africa ( not kenya tho :eek: ) Not tunisia either.

Hols Ive been on before and loved, malawi, cuba, venezuela, mexico, belize etc.

Anywhere like this would be ideal, not too much flying wiould be preferred 8 hours about the max I could deal with on a shiort holiday like this)

Any deals going anywhere?? Thoughts???
