reclaiming from airlines

in Overseas holidays & travel planning
My girlfriend and I are due to travel via Ryan Air on return flights. Due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to alter our plans and travel on different dates. This worked out cheaper to go through another carrier, than change the original booking.

I was wondering if anyone could help us and inform us if we are able to claim back any of the taxes and charges. Which amounted to £95.58

Any input on this issue would be very helpful.

    You can claim back the charges, but Ryanair will impose an administration fee which will be equal to, or more than the cost of the taxes you are claiming.

    Could I ask where you were flying to? Was it outside Europe? Just that the fees seem very high.

    -All fares, fees & charges are non refundable.

    Taxes, Fees & Charges are lumped together so you would need to find out what the taxes part comes to
