BG Boiler Servicing
Is anyone else having trouble arranging an annual service for their boiler from BG? As I'm a teacher, I tried to arrange one in half term last October and even though I called them weeksbeforehand, they couldn't fit me in. So, a date was arranged at the end of term in December but a couple of days before, I received a letter saying that the service engineer wouldn't be able to call and they would rearrange (they haven't). As it's now well into January, I thought I'd better try to book up for half term in February, but it is impossible to speak to someone on the phone - I'm simply told to call another day!! Has anyone found the same? Shall I write to them? I can't just have a day off school to suit them!!!

If it's just an annual service, Jean, why not try a local heating engineer. Maybe they are trying to nudge you into taking out Homecare. Considering the number of complaints about BG, tis a wonder they have any customers at all.0
