My wife and I and another couple are looking at travelling to Las Vegas for 7 nights in early November this year.
Would anyone be able to advise us as to the best place to get good deals on flights (not really bothered about what time and where we travel from).
Also, we are planning to stay at a good quality hotel on the Strip - probably Luxor, Treasure Island or equiv standard - again where might a good place be to get a good hotel deal?
We have thuoght about looking at teletext deals for flights + accom - these seem not bad, but are there alternative options?
Thanks very much in advance for your help.

were going in seopt, nov will be cheaper tho, u can book seperately pretty cheaply, especially if u r going for 7 nights. look at https://www.flybmi.com/tedbaker as they are doing returns for 300 for a limited time. Also, I think Virgin are doing for about £320 around then, sign up for their frequent flyer program and go to their offers.
Hotels - luxor is at the end of the strip, yes its cheap and yes its nice, but dont stay there, its too far down. Look at https://www.montecarlo.com they are pretyt much right in the middle, amazing hotel and great prices. alternatively using priceline.com u can often get the venetian for $100 a night. look at https://www.biddingfortravel.com for how much hotels are going for.0 -
Sorry - I can't help with advice on hotels beyond don't stay at the San Remo!
I have got one piece of advice though - take warm clothes as it's likely to be cold.
Have a fab time.

Here below are a couple of links for hotels and info on Vegas.
November isn't too bad, probably 65-70 but cool at night and remember they are short days after the clocks go back. October is a nicer month to go.
We have stayed at the Stardust, The New Frontier and also the Golden Nugget and Plaza downtown, all the rooms are pretty similar, personally I wouldn't pay top dollars for a room, you are only going to sleep in it, location is more important.
You will have to surf around for a good flight, we booked direct with Delta about a month ago for Oct and got a good deal, but they are more expensive now, sometimes you get a better deal direct with the airline, but try Airline network,Expedia,Travelocity, E bookers etc to compare fares
The New Frontier has a brilliant Mexican restaurant, and also a Western dance hall with live country music and line dancing, and also a bull rider, it's a great atmosphere.

what's better - the aladdin hotel or the monte carlo? You gotta be in it to win it, and who knows you might even get a Brucie!0

It depends what you want and whether price enters the equasion, we have friends who always stay at the Aladdin and love it, before and after they made the new Aladdin, Monte carlo is lovely and it's an experience going up the tower, as I said before you only sleep there, they are all nice, you can't go wrong.0

Tried to book BMI tedbaker from Man - Las today in October but special offer would only allow for 1 adult on the date I wanted. Spent ages on phone without luck trying to get 2 seats at special price. Mytravel do direct flights from Man with various hotels & seem to discount about 4 weeks prior to departure so may go for this option. Main plan is to see Elton John in Vegas & do the usual Grand Canyon trips etc, cheapest tickets for Reg Dwight are $100 on-line. Can you get them cheaper in Vegas, anybody been?0
