hurrah I got my Amazon points yesterday :j

just as I'd given up on getting any and ordered a new Dyson off Amazon last week without going through Pigsback
  • further bad news on the piggypoint front im afraid. the points from the google searches are now only going to be shared by the 100 most active members so 100 people will be better off but the other 900 are now going to miss out now :-<

Yes they seem to have changed this completely - everytime you do a Googlesearch on Pigsback, you get entered into a draw and 100 members will be picked at random to win the Piggypoints for each search. Don't think I'll be bothering with that!

Was it not 1000 members before?

Guess the winners will get more than 30 points then. (300 would be about right)

So a member could win who has never done a search.

    Bet random = new members.

They seem to be encouraging new members at the cost of older ones.

Not sure that is a good strategy as older members normally recommend sites.

I think you only get entered into the draw if you do a Google search through Pigsback. The more searches you do, the more chance you might have. But it is totally random! And it's only 100 members who will win, not the 1000 most active as previously.

If you’re a Mother and think you could advise other Pigsback.com Mums then you could be just who we are looking for! Our Mother’s Day zone will be on site from the 15th February and we’ll be encouraging members to submit their problems and questions to a panel of Pigsback.com Mums. If you think you’d like to be an agony aunt for a couple of weeks and earn 10,000 PiggyPoints, then submit an answer to the imaginary question below and we’ll pick the best for our panel!

Nice 10,000 piggypoints! If you have children and are good at giving advise.

It's official pigsback are little porky pie tellers. I complained about shop&earn points missing from my account. I sent off the confirmation email (which was to another e-mail address, but doesn't specify this is iimportant in the T&c), and whilst they were taking 3 days to get back to me, I got my points credited. Got an e-mail off "rach" today saying my account isn't on file and I wont be getting the points???? what the hell? Thank god i've already got them, I've got a confirmation e-mail and I clicked through to boots from my PB account (I MUST HAVE DONE OTHERWISE I WOULDNT HAVE GOT MY POINTS IN THE MEANTIME) - So why lie about it???? why not say " i see your points have now been credited" ...?? i think thats what makes me so wary of PB - they are so inconsistent!

    Agreed.

Are you going to challenge them about it?

i don't know droopy they might take my precious 172 points back!! i might just drop her a line saying that i must have been on file as my points were credited in the mean time. i will probably omit the "you tell porkies "part :)
