Yes, you get 50% for any kind of train journey - SW Trains is just a branded front to the national train booking system (therefore if you already have a user name and password for something like Trainline then you'll find that this works when you're making your booking). Have booked lots of journeys from Edinburgh and enjoyed lots of vouchers too!

Thanks for all the replies about the train journeys, we are going to travel down to Gatwick by train and with my family railcard I can get a return fare for £80 for 3 of us. If I want to take a chance on our plane being on time coming back I could book 2 frst class singles for £152 which is quite attractive if I'm going to get back £76 in points.
