How Low Will The Euro Go??

The company I work for buy products from Europe and sell them in the UK.

Due to the Euro € being so low we are not making as much profit and redundancies are going to happen:(:(:(.

What is your view of how the Euro will fare this year?

Currently the Euro is pretty strong, especially against the GBP and USD

I think he must mean a low rate of exchange - i.e. his pound is now buying fewer Euros.

If he's importing goods from Europe to sell here then his comments about less profit make sense in that context.

To OP: Expect things to get worse. Especially if the BOE cuts interest rates further this year.

The exchange rate between the pound and euro is what I meant.
